Question about supercharger belt????
I just lowered my pulley to 3.6 with my TVS2300, I am having belt slip, where can I purchase a belt for that size pulley. I have been looking everywhere for belts with no answer??? Please help!!!!
Also, what size of a belt do I need for that pulley??? Thanks!!!!

Belt slip with the 3.6? Why do you think your belt is slipping? Try moving the pulley on the maggie closer to the tensioner to take up some of the slack under boost.

You may want to try our HD tensioner for your application. It has solved many slippage issue's, the complete assembly is $339.

Nice setup.
Finished the install yesterday. Will be tightening the idler pulley tonight. Didn't realize that pulley had any adjustment. |

OP, You shouldn't have belt slip with the 3.6. Also you cant use a manual tensioner with a supercharger, it can take up enough of the belt slack.
I used the same belt 3.8-3.4 with no issues.

Nice lex!!! We have been producing our roots style tensioner kits for years upon years. Very popular with the GTOs, CTS-Vs, and C5/C6's.. We had to step into the Camaro market!
Like Doug said in stock daily for $339 or you can get them through one of our fine distributors on this board! |
