What kind of cars? I've run royal purple oil in the engine on turbo MR2's and my Tacoma and it ran great for years.

Interesting. I use Royal purple in my GSXR 750 which spins to 14500 rpm no issues. Been using it for 6 years .

So I finished this little project on Saturday and had some feedback for anyone looking to do it. I used Lucas oil 75w90 sync gear oil for the trans, and STP basic 75w90 gear oil for the rear will the 4oz of GM LSD additive.
1. I'd recommend buying 4 quarts of fluid as it gets super messy and I spilled a little . 2. The diff fluid didn't smell that bad, but the tranny fluid was well... nasty. 3. Make sure you are level when doing this to insure the fluid level at the full level. 4. lastly if using an additive for the diff pump a little new fluid into the diff then just dump the additive into the gear oil bottle and pump the rest of the quart into the diff. 5. buy more car parts for your Camaro because you just saved over $200+ by doing this yourself
