Changed the differential Oil

I changed my differential oil at 2480 miles, I used the GM Oil & Friction Modifier because it's the only thing I could find that had the GM specs. 1 qt of oil and 4 oz bottle of friction modifier cost me $50.00 they sold it to me at their cost or so they said. you only need 2.5 oz of the friction modifier which is 5 tablespoons, if I figured that right. I did it myself, my dealer, would charge $140.00 to do it.Here are some pics.

Pulled the Fill Plug first

Then Drain Plug, had a few small shavings but not bad, I took it easy for the break-in period

$50 for an 4oz. bottle GM friction modifier and gear oil! I have a receipt right here from a dealer (I double checked) for $14.42 list price for the modifier... so the oil is $35.58 a quart?

That was my first try to post pics I got more but I couldn't get the sequence right. Yeah sounds about right for the oil. Let's see if I can get some more pics.

I got this pump at Wal-Mart near the outboard gear oil. U need something to pump it in you won't be able to just pour it.
