Changed the differential Oil
I changed my differential oil at 2480 miles, I used the GM Oil & Friction Modifier because it's the only thing I could find that had the GM specs. 1 qt of oil and 4 oz bottle of friction modifier cost me $50.00 they sold it to me at their cost or so they said. you only need 2.5 oz of the friction modifier which is 5 tablespoons, if I figured that right. I did it myself, my dealer, would charge $140.00 to do it.Here are some pics.
Pulled the Fill Plug first Then Drain Plug, had a few small shavings but not bad, I took it easy for the break-in period Attachment 130360

$50 for an 4oz. bottle GM friction modifier and gear oil! I have a receipt right here from a dealer (I double checked) for $14.42 list price for the modifier... so the oil is $35.58 a quart?

That was my first try to post pics I got more but I couldn't get the sequence right. Yeah sounds about right for the oil. Let's see if I can get some more pics.
The plugs take a 3/8 Ratchet I got this pump at Wal-Mart near the outboard gear oil. U need something to pump it in you won't be able to just pour it. 4 oz bottle Friction Modifier Oil I drained out compared to oil that went in The drain hole is behind the hanger for the exhaust and can't actually see the hole Drain Plug before wiping Drain plug after wiping it off
