I myself like Mills Avenue next to ASU and it would be a great cruising location late at night with a two lane road and clubs and people up and down the strip for about half a mile.

Mill Ave. is great party atmosphere. Not so much, if you're looking for some place quite to sit and have a drink or two. However, I've heard that The Library got shutdown. For those of you who are single men, that is very sad.

Mill is good if you like college chicks (who doesn't) and Old Town Scottsdale is good if you like chicks in their late 20s to early 30s (I know people who don't). On a serious note the bars in Scottsdale are a little on the upscale side, so if your a snob go there. If your a little more causual goto Mill you'll have a much better time. Either way make sure you taxi back and forth from the bar so you can have some LEGAL fun. Our DUI laws are really hardcore even for the first offense, both Tempe and Scottsdale PD would love to show any us first hand....even to the slightest degree if you get my drift.

If you like the hot - young hip crowd try the SandBar. - Too young of a crowd for me but I have hered good things about it.

There is another one on Scottsdale and Shea that is solid too. Come to think of it there are a lot good bars on that intersection if your looking for an Old Town Scottsdale alternative.
