Wow. I guess I'm glad I've got low-tech lifetime guarantee koni's. I did have 1 go bad, koni replaced it and so did Big-O (at no charge even though it may not have been their problem). But it does look like the instructions for the pedders kits are a bit more involved than your average strut replacement... along with the warnings right on their sell page.

That said my general rule of thumb has been that anything that involves electrical/tuning, including just moving it to get to something else is when I take mine to a model specific performance shop. But what do I know, I drive a mustang.

install is 6-8 hours (@ ~$100/hr) and alignment in the bay area was anywhere from 100 bucks to 290 when I was living there a year and a half ago.

It's much different. probably different weight springs. Do you have a coil compressor? I'm just telling you what I was quoted on my coilovers.

I'm sure Rich at Abel Chevrolet would be glad to help you out! I come from the Corvette crowd (They tend to be extremely picky of who they let touch their cars.) Abel knows their stuff! They are not just a Chevy dealer. Their service department does all types of mods and aftermarket installation. On any given day, you will see tons of performance GMs on their racks. It's always been worth the drive to Rio Vista to see them.

Give Rich a call,

Thanks for all the help guys. I'm going to go with Limitless Motorsports in San Bruno since it's so close. They're also a wholesaler of BC Racings Coils & charges less than $300 for the install.

Hopefully everything goes well!

How did this install go? I'm looking for someone to install lowering springs and so far I can't find anyone under 400 without alignment
