difference in insurance cost base model vs ss
Hey guys I was just wondering what ss owners are paying for insurance compared to me. I drive as ls base model 13. Full coverage is about $ 125.00 a month. Plus I'm older than 25 and have a clean driving record. Everyone tells me my cost will double or triple if I traded up to as as. Can someone tell me is this true?

Call your insurance and they will tell you.
However it might be cheaper for the SS because younger car buyers cant afford them so less accidents.

My insurance went up $8 per month when I went from a 2LT to a 2SS.

I went from a 2010 LT to a 2012 2SS and my insurance barely moved. I pay $117 a month... Full coverage on the Camaro and a 2014 F-150, and Liability and comprehensive coverage on a 1998 F-150. ( GEICO)

I also have 2 other vehicles and a house on my insurance so that also knocks my rate down.

800 per year with the company my family has had forever, and they are there if I need them cause I have had a claim before with no penalties. Gotta watch some of the cheap guys, you may not pay a lot but what will they do if you ever need them?
