not so much a problem with hp as with tq. tq is what breaks stuff quick.

it all depends on how you use it. If you're going to do a lot of speed-shifting and/or hard lauches w/ slicks or DR's...your transmission's demise will be sooner rather than later. When it does blow, make sure you spend the $$$$ and get it beefed up.

also im sure twin screws are hard on the transmission from all the low end torque, so should i just beef up my 6060 or get a viper spec or magnum t-56?

it really depends on if you'll be able to hook up...hard launches w/ good traction is what will break things. I would contact some performance transmission builders and see what they say...that's going to be the most educated answers you'll be able to get. Not sure there's a t-56 that'll swap directly in yet...probably your best bet is to have a bullet-proof 6060 built by someone who REALLY knows what they are doing. AND, while you're at it, might want to get stronger axles as well.

i found cv joints that will hold 1000hp so the rear should be good. Do you recommend any transmission guys?

got a link to these 1000HP axles??

Anyone know if the rest of the diff can handle some abuse?
