I know there are few that run with Speed Ventures.

Hoping to meet a few and discuss about anything such as the last track day or any upcoming track day that might want to group up on.

Any takers.

A newbie had my first track day at Auto Club Speedway ROVAL on May 7, 2016
My times were OK for the Blue Group had a lot of traffic to deal with in all the sessions. Time: 2:07

Most that run on regular basis with MODS are cooking in at 2:00 to 1:55 for the SS, 1LE, and ZL1

Some of the Z28's are running in the 1:40's

Needless to say I am hooked.

They are addictive, aren't they? NASA has an event coming in a few weeks on June 18-19 at Buttonwillow.

I think the Speed Ventures HPDE is more my choice for now.

Running with NASA here in the Phoenix area. Newbie too, running in HPDE2 for now. Hitting Wildhorse Pass East on Saturday with some new ASC aero mods. It is addictive, for sure.

Awesome! Gonna get hot quick. I was running as hot (oil) as 253* last time out, so we'll see how hot she runs this time! Is your Z/28 white?

Yeah mine is white, have you seen me around or just a wild guess. As for the oil, mine already sits about 270 on track days, so I expect it to get hotter so I will monitor it. I am also going to decide if I want to make the move to DE4. That is the main reason for me going Sat despite me hating that track and a half day at that. I am also curious how the car will do in the high heat. I figure 117 will probably be the upper limits of what I will be tracking it in regularly so it works as a great test and tune session for me. Search me out sat so we can chat. My buddy with a red ZL1 should also be there.

Guessed white because the only other Camaro I saw my last time out (East track earlier in the spring) was a white Z/28. Not sure if it was you, but was the logical guess. This will be my first run with DE2, so I'm looking forward to it. I also want to see how the car handles the additional heat, but ending at 1100, expect to "only" see around 105 or so.....Purchasing an additional oil cooler to augment the OEM cooler, but won't have it done by Saturday.....will look for you then.
