I thought Saleen went under or was auctioned off or something to that nature
all things considered
If I had the money to buy a saleen camaro...I wouldnt. I would by a hennessey!

The car doesnt look terrible.. after all it is a camaro but for me the thought of steve saleen touching my camaro would make me feel violated.LOL! I dont care for the hood or the stripes, too mustangish for me. If i wanted my camaro to look like a mustang then i would have just bought a mustang. just my opinion

ok so its SMS now not Saleen. Sorry about that. After looking at the site. his styling cues for the mustang, Charger and Camaro are all the same. The front ends all try to look similar. I guess thats ok for some. I wish him luck. After all i guess he realized that the Camaro is a true work of art so i wont knock him for that. but when i hear Saleen i think Ford. I would rather see Yenko then this.

i dont get all of you guys bashing saleen. yes, he made a ford-biased comment at a saleen event years ago. big f@#$ing deal. he makes great cars from scratch, he modifies cars and makes them look, and perform better than anyone else out there (even hennessey) his cars are cheaper, faster, flashier (if you like extensive body mods) and done very well. i will own a sms car one day -- and i am chevy camaro down to the bone

i hate the challenger and think its an ugly as a$$ car inside and out! but the 540x sms challenger is absolutely stunning in person the interior, exterior body mods, suspension, engine -- an excellent version of a mediochre car

sms started because saleen was in contract with ford to never mod a chrysler or gm car

the hennessey that everyone loves so much is a supercharger that anyone can bolt up themselves with a few badges and stickers on a springed camaro -- sms is completely redone top to bottom, no comparison folks -- do your research before getting on the bandwagon

look at the sms website and look up spec sheet for challenger 540x -- that is about what the camaro 620x will be -- COMPLETELY REDONE CAR!! the hennessey ls9 is on ebay for $125k -- a better car with same power by sms -- $90k (plus it has interior mods and body mods and suspension that is soooo much more than hennessey cars have done)
