Every car I ever bought from a dealer new or used had a full tank when I picked it up. I thought that along with cleaning the car was standard procedure. Any dealer that doesn't do that is just cheap and lazy. I don't know what octane they put in the Camaros though. I didn't bring my mass spectrometer with me.

Back when I had mine, I drove away on a fourth of a tank. Was so excited to have a Camaro that I didn't notice.

Same here, even the 2500HD with 34 gallon tank.

I expected a full tank and was adamant that it be filled with 91. I've worked in dealerships for over a decade. I thought a full tank upon delivery of a new car was common place.

Every new or certified pre-owned car I've ever purchased, I've always asked the dealer to fill the tank as part of the deal. Most dealers won't want to blow a $10k-$40k deal for $60 in gas.

My wife even made one used car dealer toss in some factory floor mats since the mini van we were wanting to buy didn't have any. The salesman declined to order them but the sales manager walked to the parts department and came back with a new set for us.

It's on the window sticker for my wife's Prius. It was not on the sticker for my Firehawk but they filled it. I don't have the sticker for my SS handy.
