Help finding a part
Hello- looking for gm 20966076 - it’s a slip yoke boot/seal for the ZL1 driveshaft. My dealer could not locate one and it doesn’t show up in any auto part stores. Is there a replacement with a different part number or maybe an acceptable alternative?
Thanks! |

Some of the on-line parts stores show that they have them:

I tried- they are listed as in stock but when you purchase you the order gets cancelled.

But… seems there are predators on this site. Post looking for a part and you start getting a lot of PM.

Always check for how long someone's been on the forum. New guys with hard to find parts should throw a red flag instantly. It's not just this forum. It's many others. It's not that THEY actually have the part. They know someone who's not a member and give you the email address to someone like an uncle or cousin that has that part. Which they don't. They want your money only. And no part.

Ok so here is some info that may be helpful. I did a lot of online searching and tracked down a Mercedes driveshaft boot that is not exact, but very close and I have confirmed that it fits.
Sucks that you can get a part for a 72 Mercedes but not for a 2012-2015 Camaro… PM me if you need one and I will share. After getting hosed from posting a need and the scammers coming out and trying to abuse people I think it’s better kept in the background. Happy Holidays to all! |
