Head and neck restraint (HANS device)
Shopping for a "Hans device". I've narrowed it down to a NecksGen REV2 Lite or a Simpson Hybrid S. Looking for safety with good visibility. C5 Z06 track car. I have a 6 point harness, full containment seat and airbags are deleted. What are some of you folks running?

I have a little used Simpson Hybrid Sport “+”. Mine has the secondary restraints as you see on the Hybrid S, for attaching into the waist belt system. There are two straps coming off the lower rib belt, that slide over the seatbelt pins if you have a Cam lock restraint system.
It hasn’t been used in seven years, and it was only used twice a year for four to six, mile passes. It was manufactured in Aug of 2014, and I can drop it off at Simpson and have them recertify it, and then mail it out to you directly if you want to save some money… Simpson can mount the post collar anchors to your Helmet. Simpson Worldwide Headquarters is about 25 minutes from my house… PM if you’re interested…

After consulting with a couple of my racer associates I'm going to go with that NecksGen unit I mentioned. I DEFINITELY appreciate the offer for the Simpson as that is a very cool gesture.

Purchased the NecksGen REV2 Lite unit yesterday from We Dont Lift racing in Tempe Az. Great small shop with excellent customer service. Ryan took about 45 min or so helping me get the correct size etc. Donning it is pretty straightforward, hopefully it never gets "tested".
