It was nice to get some fresh air, almost 70 today then back to the high 30’s tomorrow. can’t wait for spring.

Great question, my boy wants victory red. He ain’t getting it. It’s going straight back to the original bright blue. Hoping to get it painted in the next few years. Good paint ain’t cheap lol.

Been a long long time since the T-s got put into the bags and cinched down in the back of the car. Did about 40 miles yesterday with the t tops out. (85* out) Was a great time!
(Yea I know, I put them in the car upside down lol didn’t pay much attention till I remove them for reinstallation)

I'm so jealous of this car. You can't find a clean 3rd gen in Florida, let alone one for less then 1500... And for 1500 it needs new floors, seals, and hasn't ran in 10 + years. A clean car is gonna cost closer to $10,000. *sigh* i miss my 87 Trans Am.

Had to do axle tube seals recently. The originals fought the whole way out. No leaks now. It still has the original brake pads. I should have taken some pictures of everything while it was apart. Braking systems sure have come a long ways. Getting the calipers off is a minor pain in the ass.

Those calipers were know to have issues, I switched to the 89 and up set up with the 11.65 I think rotor. Only issue is trying to find the backing plates if you have the BW 9 Bolt. I was lucky and found a brand new set many years ago.

The PBR's that came on the Aussie 9 bolt were a bitch you had to screw the piston back in to do a pad change and the integral parking brake mechanism always seized up.

The PBR's were only available on the 9 Bolt in 89, Previous years had an issue with the E Brake and the piston backing out. The calipers were the same between 9 and 10 Bolts. 89 is the year both went to the PBR Caliper prior to that they were delco moraines. the 9 Bolt went away after 89 and the backing plates are different between 9 and 10 Bolts so the PBR were a 1 year only backing plate for the 9 Bolt.
