header gaskets

going to be installing headers on my 13 SS 1LE. what gaskets at the head do you guys recommend. i dont like the look of the gaskets that came with the headers,they look cheap. thanks

I've always ran my stock gaskets. Way better than the ones you get from manufacturers.

Stock will hold up the best! Contact your local dealership for some, I think the part number is GM-12610046.

If your gaskets are in good shape, just clean/reuse them. I'm still running the factory original gaskets on my car, and headers have been on/off 20+ times, and multiple sets of headers. Still same MLS gaskets that the car came with.

GM gaskets for sure, we include them with every new set of our Super Pro's.

Reused stock gaskets when I added headers. Works great!
