my '13 SS convt. flooded 250 miles
Flooded-Junkyard will give $10,000. Car was 46,000. 6-speed flooded in garage water to hood lip- 1 inch above rear backing sensors. Ins won't cover it- Opinions PLEASE- need to know by tomorrow!

Get all the fluids drained out of it, let it sit and dry out, and see what happens. For a $36,000 loss, what else do you have to lose? I understand the electrical concerns and probably the smells that could come out of it, but it's worth a try.

If the engine is flooded you need to pickle it...Boats do this when sunk. Do not let the engine dry out until you can immediately pickle it.
http://www.boatus.com/hurricanes/pickle.asp As everyone else says, i think if you can rescue the core the other stuff you can do overtime -- lots of work, but i wouldn't do knee jerk reaction to a salvage yard... Good luck mate
