Tune Time Performance?
I saw a posting from Tune Time Performance in NJ for doing a cam/header/tune install at a pretty reasonable rate for the package.
Anyone use them? I have not heard of them, so I was hoping to get some feedback from some members who have. Any insight good or bad, is appreciated. Thanks! Spring is almost here! |

OP. I have been a customer of Tune Time since late 2009 (I got my Gen 5 in August 2009 and wanted to upgrade suspension to eliminate wheel hop. Tune Time installed my Pedders XA drag package which worked wonders. Since then they have done numerous upgrading work including Heads, Cam, Headers, Supercharger, Racing Seats, Transmission swap, Rear swap, Meth injection, etc. etc. My car is currently performing above expectation. My most recent trip there was for new front struts, alignment and corner balancing to improve weight transfer to the rear wheels to improve my 60' times. The 60' went from a best of 1.41 on a perfect track to a 1.38 on a poorly prepared track this past weekend. I know the work performed by Tune Time is second to none and you will be more than pleased with the end result.

OP, I used Tune Time for my cam install and I'm very happy with the performance package they put together. I wanted more power and reliability to drive it to Florida without stopping at every gas station along the way.
However haven't made Florida yet, but drove to South Carolina and back knocking down 24 mpg on the highway and if I keep my foot out it in town I see 17. Matt and Joe are damn good people, you won't be disappointed with quality of the work you'll receive from the technicians. Definitely check out the shop the place is spotless and you become a friend not just a customer.
