2019 ZR1 embarrasses Ford GT

https://www.caranddriver.com/feature...tning-lap-2018

The 2019 ZR1 obliterated the Ford GT. Makes it look like every other overpriced Ford.

ZR1 doing ZR1 things! That is one hell of an impressive package.

But despite my love of Corvettes, even if I had F U money to where I could buy (and get an allocation) I would still rather have the Ford GT.

If I had the money to buy 2-3 ZR-1’s, I’d buy a 911 GT2 RS, which is still cheaper than a ford GT, and kick’s the blue oval’s a$$.

I had a good chuckle over the Cherokee being pretty close to the Turbo 1LE.

I enjoyed that they had a section on the website listing every Camaro and Mustang LL time for comparison.

Obviously different years with different track conditions and drivers but still neat to see.

IMO, no car is worth that, much less a Ford. And I'd have said the same of the ZR1 if it was half that price. Yeah, the Ford GT can actually be a good investment, but you have to keep it in a glass case. What's the point?

I'd rather drive the hell out of the ZR1 and invest the extra money I'd have spent on the Ford GT.

Different strokes for different folks.

The PP2 is like a new airliner that has all the necessary hardware to cross the Atlantic, but can't because the fuel tanks are too small.

Yeah the lack of appropriate cooling is a really silly decision for what seems to be an otherwise great package.
