I'm betting that the mockup at the autoshow has the cargo divider in it to show it off and this simulating a "full" bed and showing that you can still cary stuff on top with (probably an official GM) accessory.

On the extended cab, the bed size is as big as my current Frontier and I can easily it a bike in it.

Does anyone know if the Z71 requires you to get the V6? Is it possible to get a 4 cylinder Z71?

Hmm I was thinking Jeep for the second car but if GM offers the MT that would clench the deal for me, particularly with the 2.5l and diesel options. The diesel is really exciting.

Extended cab is a 6 foot bed. Crew cab is 5 foot bed or you can even get the 6 foot bed.

Only thing I see that looks like a Tacoma is the rear side window... And the wheel arches if the Tacoma look like the ones on the Previous Colorado.. So what's your point?

Old styling not very unique! I would include the cab shape as Tacoma not just the back windows. I'm sure Toyota doesn't refer to GM for style! HA

If I got a dollar every time someone said X car looks like Y car, I'd own the entire GM truck lineup by now.

It may not hold the lawnmower characteristics of the current model (interior design, ride, appearance) but not enough new unique characteristics for my taste.

Angrybird, that's an invalid comparison. You have to use a Tacoma from 5-10 yrs ago and compare it to the 2015. Simply because that's about how far GM is behind on mid or small truck designs etc..

Not trolling at all. Just my opinion. I currently own all Chevy trucks. I believe currently that I have a stake body, dump truck, four 3500 extended cab LTZ 4x4 with stahul work bodies, one regular cab 2500 4x4 with stahul work body, two 2500 extended cab 4x4 LTZs, one 2500 LTZ crew cab, one 2500 regular cab 4x4 gas, and two 3500 cut a ways with 12' Spartan bodies.

My point is that I love Chevy trucks and have always used them for the most part. Trolling? No. Not liking the direction GM is taking with their trucks? Yes.

Why is a different opinion other than the status quo always considered trolling on this forum?
