Launch questions for A6 L99

Trying to gather up as much info. as possible. I think I have the rules down.
Don’t drive a hot car, make sure your hood is shut after cooling
No A/C
lower your tire pressure
helmet
WIndows up
don’t drive through the water pit try to back just to the edge.
take out all things that could be filing around
Come with a quarter to half tank
So for the actual run, drive in comp mode/ nannies off. In sport mode.
Left on brake right on gas, get up to 2000 to to 2500. Last yellow mash the gas, foot off brake, hope you hook and don’t red.
Is I have never run a track before. I practiced a little on some out of the way roads. All nannies on can’t get to 1000rpm for launch and then blog.
So that’s not the way to run. The only way my tires will light up is with the nannies off.
Being that I have any experience yet. It would seem if I could launch with tc off, launch at 2000-2500 the car will hook do to no wheel spin. I launched at 2500 with both nannies off and need a lane and a half, and a lot of spin.
Is there a way to launch with just tc on and stbtrk off. I get by rpms no spin so the car should hook, that way I don’t really need stdtrkl

I think a part of the the problem is that you are over loaded on slang, cliches, and too many acronyms. Get all of that ironed out and you will be good to go.

Generally sounds good.

If you've never made a track pass before, I suggest you tech in your car, park, and walk up to starting line area and watch folks make runs for a bit.

I never make a pass in my car at a new track before visiting first to see how the track is run.

You pretty much figured out sport mode will bog but your tires won't spin and turn it all off and you'll spin without Drag radials and prepped track.

Practice Practice Practice... start off with traction on and then turn it off and ease into it until you figure out the happy place where it launches and hooks.

Bring it to Camaro Fest in July and you'll have plenty of help
