Z06,Hell kitty, viper

So today I had the chance to ride in a 2016 Z06 and a Challenger Hell cat and then a Viper...
much to my surprise the Viper was the beast... closed track for Vette and Viper... small straight line in the Challenger. Vette rocks, Viper blew my socks off.. I was disappointed in the Hell cat..after all the hype.. it was fast but a short pull ( concrete block corse in the background to just a little out of frame) wasn't much harder than my full bolt on LS3 w/391s

I'm not seeing the Viper in the pictures. Was it the new ACR?

I'm calling BS, see my previous thread my Dad bough a Hellcat and it pulls way harder then my ZL1. The thing is like a rocket ship, way more impressive then the viper. I've been in a viper and thought it was crap (IMO). Id take a hellcat any day over a viper.

With slicks the hellcat can run 10.8 stock... 11.4 with those small stock tires.

A dad on my daughter's hockey works at Chrysler. They just finished the 2015 model build. He told me the 2016 hellcat will come with 335 on the back. He wasnt exactly sure because he works in repair. But that's the number he heard....we will see.

That will be ugly in a good way. 10s stock will be common. Hopefully its true. Tires can make a huge difference in these cars.

Call it what you want.. I have heard of guys with my build pulling right along side ZL1s and being surprised they did, my gearing is a pretty aggressive combo the non 1LE SS 6spd trans/3.91s for a short pull . I betcha the big boy kitty is a rocket from a roll though, but the short dig run wasn't that great sry (4500lbs) . it just was fun not omg i was ready for omg and got okayyyy... I didn't get the roll run chance.
The Viper ride was on a track not a straight line and it was impressive as was the Vette but I didn't expect what the Viper did, it was a blast! The Vette gave me all that I expected no doubt.

You think the question would have come up. Let's see, we have around 4500 pounds and over 700 hp, selling for $70K, yeah those skinny tires should be ok!

The 2016 Hellcat will come with the exact same (inadequate) 275 tires as the 2015's. ...

There is a rumor that sometime in the near future they will offer a wide body Hellcat with the 335 rubber.

The wide body Hellcat will be called the ADR (American Drag Racer).....so the rumor says...........

Carry on........

For as heavy as the challenger is I would rather get the Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk. I am sure with the AWD that will surprise quite a few people off the line.

They say the TrackHawk is doing... 2.8 secs.... zero to 60 during testing.......

I expect a 10 sec 1/4 mile bone stock for it due to superior traction...

It will MSRP over 80K...
