Went with the CHE. Sadly you guys did not have those so I had to go with BTR. But I will be buying my oil pump from y’all for sure. Since I have your attention how positive are you that the 7.425 pushrods will work with my SS4 no-fly cam that I just ordered a little nervous about having the wrong size pushrods because this is going to be done in a weekend won’t be able to leave car sitting under the knife to wait for a different size.
With stock lifters, unmilled heads, stock gaskets the 7.425 is what you need. Johnson lifters can change the length needed

Do you still suggest measuring them?

You can, but the base circle of our cam needs 7.425 on stock stuff to get the preload we like to run.

What’s the preload you like to run? And how do you get to that number?

IWANTA(ss) - you're gonna like it when it's done! Did you end up with Smith Bros from BTR? I'm pretty sure that's where mine came from - they seem like a nice quality product. The CHE's are nice too, but I don't think you're giving up anything with the Smith Bros. As long as they aren't needles I'm happy.

After seeing Chris49066SS’s runs at the track I think I’m going to love it lol. I ended up
with the CHE’s from BTR just because I liked the fact that I don’t have to press them in, that’s what I gathered so long as they aren’t needles they are great.

After talking with you. Made sure to get the Fluidampr with 25% UD. A few more pieces and a baseline dyno and the install can begin.

Got the wrong headers but dynoSteve fixed really quick. Headed to GPI next week for a base line dyno and then it’s time for the tear down. And the Meling came in yesterday. Lol it’s been Christmas all month for me.
