What does everyone think of this deal? The headers on MS are $788 plus the ATAK. I believe these are 1 3/4 not 1 7/8. Does Borla make quality headers? I didnt even know they made headers. He says he has the high flow cats go with it. I would still need the car tuned thats for sure.

thats a pretty good deal. I would definitely go look at it. See if you can get him to come down on it then it might be worth it. As far as the quality, I'm sure it isn't far off from the other brands, anything is better than the stock ones.

True... I was kind of thinking for being used it wasnt a great deal.. $788 for headers and $1200 for new. It is a saving but nothing drastic

Honestly, you should buy an exhaust based on the final product. If you plan on getting a tune in 2 months then get one that sounds good to you w/o afm. The sound can never be bad enough to waste money on something you don't want. I myself stayed with the stock exhaust until I decide to tune it and find just the right one.. in person. (videos can not determine sound levels well enough.)

Does AFM really bother people that bad? LOL

Does driving in Sport Mode cause the AFM to not engage?

Yes, it bothered me that bad after I put on a catback. The stock system is the best for hiding the AFM noises. When driving in (M) Sport Mode the AFM will still be active. When driving in (M) using Tap Shift, the AMF will not engage. That is the way my car was.
