Then, I'm going to apply a product like Black Magic to all the textured plastic splitter, rocker and diffusers panels to keep them looking good for a LONG time. I'll detail the wheels and tires. I think I'll have the windows tinted within the first day or so, too. Then, it will be about a thousand more pictures. I might have a clear bra applied to the front right away, too; I hate paint chips.

Good plans, protect the sinister beauty. Window Armor with tint scheduled asap after I take delivery.

Cold Air Intake if I decide it will be worthwhile, and removal of some resonators to get as much air going through with as little resistance as possible. I'll probably install a mild to wild switch right off the bat.

Also, either the ********** or the Phantom T-Rex grille goes on the first week, after some "before" pics.

I'll not be redlining in the first thousand miles. That will take all the self-control I have, but I intend to break all the mechanicals in incrementally, maybe not gently, but not harshly either. Firmly is a good word.

I'll drive with the warranty intact for a year or so, then start considering going a bit wilder.

THEN THIS V

I will put a whole lot of miles on it the first day, then i will tint the windows, black out the chevy bowties and park it in the garage. I will be using the metro system for transportation to work.

Good luck on making your neighbors jealous. Most people could care less about performance cars. I think most of my neighbors drive 4 door, 4 cylinder sedans or 4 cylinder trucks.

Good luck on finding recent threads without your negativity in them... Are you just compelled to come into thread where you seemingly have little to no discernable interest in the topics just to make trouble or bring other people down? Is it your goal to extinguish others' enthusiasm?

- Aftermarket sound system.
- Viper security alarm with remote start.
- ******* Grille (if it fits).

I've been around here for a while and radZ28 isn't a rude person. He's an all around great guy.

While your post was generally negative and cynical, I didn't see anything offensive in it. Most people do settle for the ordinary, as you say. Some of those still have a spark of passion about hot cars and are just too practical to do it themselves but appreciate it when they see it. Some just think anyone with a hot car is stupid for not letting their money sit in a bank somewhere. If that makes 'em happy, fine by me, but I'd rather be having fun with it.

My favorite people are the ones who really love their rides, and really appreciate when they see something outstanding. They're way more interesting to hang with. You can tell who that is by the drool on the sidewalk when you pull up in a ZL1.

Let's talk about cars instead of personalities.

I see where both are coming from. Shouldn't be that big of a deal just a little communication issue. It happens especially on forums. Bolt on, I don't think rad meant any harm. I think he just is excited about the ZL1 and wants the keep the atmosphere charged to a positive note till we all get our ZL1.
Surely you can relate when you were waiting on your vette?
It must suck having a vette though and no one in your neighborhood get jealous though. Even still, on a positive note I bet there are people who are jealous of your vette. The just don't show it. The way they show theyre jealousy is by NOT giving you a thumbs up or smile or even neck bending to look at your car. But you should know that deep down it really kills them not to turn and look. And that sux being the jealous one. LOL. been there done that.
Ive been there, and surely you have been there. Deep down especially men love toys I don't care if they are drivng a 4 cyl or 4 door....they still love cars like yours deep down. They just wont show you they do. Please don't take this as an attack in anyway...
or me singling you out....We just wanna have fun thats all and keep the atmosphere charged as best as we can... thats all. I think it was your "care less" that was took as negativity. No harm done.
