I removed mine also. To me it really looks cleaner.

Yeah I've heard about that. I have a 2011, but they can still be filled an then put the black bar over that.. Or whatever other color bar lol.

Me too! I have my bow tie painted of course, but I really like the other look too.. I'm thinking about giving it a try and seeing if i like it or if it grows on me.. If not, can always change it back

I was thinking the same thing. Apparently they sell magnetic ones. So that makes it easy if you don't like it.

So did the 2011 have the holes behind the rear bowtie? I've been pondering removing mine, but the holes have been holding me back.

I took off my rear bowtie & wanted to leave it plain, but it had the holes so I covered them up with the Sparks SS.
I like the Sparks SS, so I'm glad it had the holes!

OP, looks great with the lettering removed. I took mine off within a week or so of having the car. Now I have one set across the trunk lid and the other in front of the passenger seat on the dash.
