Let us know how it works, and how loud it is.

I bought a Troy-Built 240mph leaf blower at Lowes over the weekend. iirc it was $59.

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but the leaf blower appeared to be drying water spots on the paint. Normally I just keep the paint wet and then blot with an Absorber and finish up with a good waffle weave. This worked well on my 04 Impala SS (Black), but the Camaro paint seems to swirl extremely easy. I figured the leaf blower would help and that it would chase water off, but not cause it to dry rapidly.

Anyone else notice this?

GAS powered engine blowing hot air. Ok don't know why but it could the culprit versus electric.

I should have specified, the Troy-Built is electric as well.

I use mine to blow the water out of the side view mirrors, wheel lug nuts, trunk seams, front grill, door handles, gas cap, turn signals, break lights, license plate area, etc. etc.

+1........ The XM antenna holds a lot of water too!

Don't use a blower/vac combo. Once you use the vacuum it will hold dirt in the housing.

Don't use a gas blower. They can blow out oil............

I've never had water get trapped in, or come out of the shark fin antenna. Of course, now that you've mentioned it I'll starting seeing it.

With gas powered leaf blowers, it's the exhaust that you have to worry about. It floats and lands all over the car.

If your leaf blower is leaving water spots, then you may want to change the soap you are using or the paint protection on your car. I cannot get a water spot to set no matter how hard I try (and I tried real hard this month, including parking by a public water sprinkler).

I'm very happy with my $29 leaf blower from Sears. Works like a charm and cheap too. And check this, it works wonders on leaves!

I use Adam's soap but the protection may be the problem. Before buying, the car I knew the paint wasn't perceived as the best on the new Camaro. Knowing this, when the total interior/exterior protection package was offered, I bit. Money was wasted I'm afraid.

You sir, are correct. I'm in the process of trying to get a refund on that part of the deal. Hopefully the fact that my family has been buying cars at that location since '63 will gain me an upper hand. Otherwise taping off half of the car and showing them what protection should look like may be required.

I'm a bit peeved at myself for knowing better and not doing the right thing. The "wonderful" warranty against etching etc. swayed me. What I'm finding out is that warranty part is useless and thus makes the whole thing useless/

And that right there is where they bend you over! If anyone read the small print on the warranty of that protection, they would never buy it! Man, I get upset just reading about how they get over on folks with that crap!
