We discussed and agreed, with him building this type of high end build, he would do the break in... He'll fire her off with the baseline tune, put her on the rollers just to make sure everything is good to go, and then drive her for a few days, oil changes etc, and then when he feels it's time, he'll strap her down and creep up to the tune...

It's a pretty amazing process, and I feel good having him take care of it... much better than some place building it, strapping her down and thrashing on her right away...
man, I can't tell you how realxing it is to know that the builder is working their way up to big power...

Not that my build is nearly as beastly as yous,

But, Tom Henry did something similar for me, since I live almost 1000 miles away he made sure the tune was right and the car was boken in properly before they threw it on the dyno...

He even had some of his most picky employees drive it checking for rattles and squeaks...

Good to know they are taking care of you.

As we all know, builders live and die by their reputation.. You can advertise to the end of the internet and if you don't handle up on your business where it counts, you will still go hungry...

Ted, Tom Henry, Livernois, ADM, HPT, just to name a few, will continue to have success, however thats measured, and a long line of Happy Customers... They pay attention to the details, and do whats right.... They will all have a few unhappy customers, but for the good shops, those are few and far between... I venture in most cases, those are more related to the customer not knowing what they want in the first place...
I am very happy with Corey, and his employees, and his shop... and I don't even have my car back yet...

As mentioned before, I shopped long and hard before I was fortunate enough to find one right down the street... relatively speaking... 40 minutes from my house...

uhm, I'm in Brazil, it's two hours earlier than CST, and I usually get up around 3:30 or 4:00 am local time, so I'm getting up at 1:30 or 2:00 your time... and yes, it is hard sleeping knowing my car is in the shop and I can't go see it.

The anticipation is killing me... You who grew up with performance cars at the highest levels... it was tough, and exciting.. for me, with this being my first MAJOr build ever, it's absolutely brutal...I've been on the rig 7 days, and it seems like three months already... Is it possible time stopped...

It's tough, but worth it. Adrenaline comes in waves...

Well, since it is my intention to continue to go as fast as Corey can propel me, I bit the bullet and ordered my driving gear today... Pants, jacket, etc... I ordered from Simpson, and had to laugh when I was looking on the contact tab, and found out their world headquarters are 35 minutes from my house, and five minutes from Corey's shop... in of all places, New Braunfels Texas... Cool deal...They asked me to stop by with the car when she is ready to go...

It's a done deal, the stuff will arrive at the house, and now I'll just need a cage to really see what Brandi is capable of... the biggest curve I assure you will be the driver mod... a little time is all I'll need there though, and the way my build is going, i'll only have a little time on the track to sort it out... I'm hoping for 10's, and maybe 9's in the not too distant future...

Believe me, I've got plenty of offers... and there will be a few, but not on the track other than Corey... and he isn't trying to set records, just make sure it's all sorted out... But, I do appreciate it immensly...

Wanna ride shot gun and give me some pointers, now that we could do... lol...

I'm still waiting for some updates...

Better bring along a voice recorder, cause you might not be able to write... could end up with a pencil sticking out of your eyeball...
