Time to get some Bazooka Tubes !

Jim
When I was 16 I had a pair of Bazooka Tubes in my '79 Z28. It's the only thing I could afford that would fit in the trunk!

I've had my 2011 2LT/RS A6, 6300 miles, since the first week of July and no issues and that includes the paint. Knock on wood.

No probs 2011 2LT / RS. Agree on the bass BA is weak. To straight I have to hold the steering wheel about 2 degree to the left. Will have the dealer look at it. No paint issues even with the spoiler.

I have an issue to report, I thought about starting a new thread, but I'll add it here. This is for my 2011 2SS RS.

When winter struck here in New England, my clutch pedal would not return all the way up. It was annoying because the Cruise Control would not work unless the clutch pedal was all the way up.

Anyway, I brought it to the dealer and they asked me who put the fluid in clutch cylinder. I told them with less than 4000 miles it was still still original. They made the same comment around the master cylinder and hinted that these systems are hydraulically linked (someone please verify if possible).

Anyway 4 weeks later, I got my car back. It took forever for them to get all the parts from GM. They replaced both cylinders and some wheel cylinders. They said that the elastomer components looked deteriorated. Anyway, the car drives dramatically better.

Before the clutch engaged about 25% from the floor. It also felt a bit soft and sloppy. It was also a miserable experience trying to get it into first on a very cold day (sub 25 F)

Yesterday, i had to learn the clutch again. It now lets out about 75% from the floor and it feels firm, but smooth.

If anyone has these symptoms, bring it to your dealer (but have them order the parts in advance).

I almost forgot to mention. My loaner car was a Yellow 2010 Camaro LS automatic with 23,000 hard rental miles on it. Its a sin how this car was beat on by prior drivers. My biggest observation when I got into my car again was how much I missed the leather interior.
I had this problem for the first time yesterday. 15 min of driving, my clutch pedal would not come all the way out, but it did seem to engage and disengage. I did create a thread about it before reading this thread though. I couldn't reproduce it today. I don't think it's a temperature thing either because my car has been driven on much colder days (-24 F) than the 32 F it was yesterday.

Does Chevy know this? They don't seem to want to admit it to me! I would like to have it fixed for sure.

Nice work on the sub. I love it. Very stealth and professional looking. On the USB issue...try an iPod classic (latest model) instead. It will read the database directly from the device rather than reindexing. It's a known issue on the PDIM interface.
