Fog inside the radio screen

The other day I drove the beast for the first time in 3 weeks. She's kept safe and dry inside my garage and always have been since day one. So while driving I noticed the radio screen was fuzzy looking. At first I thought I was having vision problems until I saw it was clear in a few areas. The radio worked fine and I continued to my destination about 45 minutes away. By the time I got there the screen had cleared up completely and no residue was visible inside. It was a muggy/high humitity day and in the upper 90's. But I thought the radio was a sealed unit that prevents that from happening. Anybody have words of wisdom????????

Ran into that my problem myself, it's from the condensation of the a/c blowing through the vents directly above the radio. try closing those two louvers above the radio and see if it goes away.

same problem when i first got mine, the only fix without sealing the top part of the screen is to not angle your vents straight down, lame i know..

I would just take it in to the dealer. It's definitely covered under the bumper to bumper warranty.

I would agree with Steiger. If this issue does continue for you you may want to look into having it checked out by your dealer to see if they might have a more permanent fix for you. If you do take your vehicle in could you let me know how everything goes for you? Thank you!
