2010 SS Camaro smoking under boost BAD

Hey,

I have been battling an oil burning issue for awhile now and wondering if anyone else has had the same or similar issues.

Idling the car shows no sign of burning oil

When driving the car seems fine, when you get on it we see a large cloud of smoke from the tail pipes. I have had a compression test / leak down test done and everything came back good. All Cylinders were within 1 number of each other.

I feel like I have really bad blow by when under boost, I am adding 1 qt of oil every 200 miles give or take which leads me to think it's the piston rings.

Any help would be appreciated as I am running out of options, scheduling another leak down test with a local shop that I can trust.

Mods:
Maggie supercharger
Full exhaust / high flow cats
Cam
Catch Can
Innovators west pulleys
50k miles
Tuned

Did you buy it modified? Did a shop do the work or you do it yourself?

Are you sure it is on it, and not off of it? Mine smoked when I came out of boost.

I purchased the car with the mods, I had to have the car tuned to because it was running extremely rich.

There is no oil leaking when the car is parked, not sure where it would be leaking onto the exhaust, I did notice last night if I give the car a high rev you get a decent amount of smoke. Still no smoke at idle.

The car only smokes when on throttle and smokes really bad when WOT

Do you have aftermarket valve covers?

I cracked the rings in my LS1. Under medium throttle very little smoke. When I came out of boost a cloud over took the car. Looked like it was on fire. Was filling the intake with oil as well. Never leaked a drop when parked. I blew it all out the exhaust.

What are the numbers for the compression and leak-down test and who performed the test?

This symptons are hard to diagnose without taking the head off. It could be a pistons oil control ring, bad valve seals, or a oil seal in the supercharger. You can check valve seals with a vacuum gauge, instructions are included on most vacuum test kits. Also you can look at the plugs for any oil for black cover plugs. If one of the plugs is cover in black suspect an oil control ring. The compression and leak down only pin point compression rings and valves. It doesn't test oil ring.

Since your car is supercharger and has too put more fuel in the combustion chamber it is possible that the oil control rings has carbon on it and is not allowing the oil ring to seal and allows oil to get in the combustion chamber. Most people put seafoam in the cylinder that have the problem. The machine shop that I do business with when I had the same problem told me to put PB blaster on the cylinder at dead bottom center. You have to fill up the cylinder or cylinders with it and leave it for 24 hours. It worked for me.

Sad but I can't remember the exact numbers with the compression test, if i remember correctly it was either 152 or 157 and all cylinders were almost dead on.

I will pull the plugs this weekend and see what shows. They are new plugs and only have about 2,400 miles on them if that. I have never done the Seafoam or PB blaster on a cylinder before.

How much oil does it catch... How about coolant level in the intercooler? White Smoke? Blue Smoke?

Coolant levels are good all the way around I haven't had to add anything.

The catch can shows about 1/2 inch of oil on the clear oil level indicator.

The smoke coming out of the back is more of a grey smoke with maybe a tint of blue.

I know I am burning oil because of the amount I am putting in.

Thanks for the help if you need more info or if I need to check something just ask.
