Pulled over!

So it finally happened! It took over two months to finally get pulled over.

I was headed home after.. driving spiritedly with a group of friends.. when my radar detector went crazy. I started to slow down and I saw headlights come on. (State Trooper was sitting in the median of the interstate completely blacked out at 10pm on a dark night.. No parking lights and no interior lights)

He caught up to me and turned his blue lights on so I pulled over. He clocked me at 82 in a 70.. He ended up giving me a warning.. however I was EXTREAMLY lucky.... considering what all he could have wrote me a ticket for...

Speeding
No Proof of Insurance (lost my insurance card somehow)
Failure to Register (having some paperwork trouble atm)
Ficticous Tags (still have tags from one of my trade-ins)
Illegal Window Tint
Illegal operation of a Nitrous Equipt Vehicle (a class C misdemenor since I
forgot to unhook the line from the bottle)
Failure to signal a turn (changed lanes when I saw him coming)

He didn't see the Nitrous bottle and I rolled the windows down before I even got to a complete stop. He didn't ask for the bill of sale or mention the tags or failure to signal.. he just told me to slow down and make sure to have insurance card on me... gave me written warning and let me go.. cool cop.

Uh wow. In NY you would have lost your car no question. Get your shit together man and save the spray for the track. I never even had my bottle in the car unless I was going to the track in my old car. Why risk a misdemeanor?

Yeah close call indeed but usually they won't give you a ticket for going over by that little unless they are real pricks, here in Miami traffic normally go 10
Mph over anyways they'd be pulling over the whole turnpike

Ya...the no insurance thing I always write for... If you get into an accident your gonna get one for not having it... It's more like a fix-it ticket anyways...your can fax in proof on insurance at the time of the stop and your done with no fine!

some are good yep, some arent....lol, i got pulled last week on the hwy, NOT speeding at all, 6:30am on the way to work...i got pulled over for...tinted windows and i had forgotten my tag sticker on my plate. on the windows,...he was behind me the whole time, no way he seen the sides were tinted, but they are...so i cant argue that fact, even though i rolled them down when i pulled over (for his piece of mind, not the ticket - i really didnt think id get one for that,lol)...oh and when he walked up, he said he already knew my plates were good, he radio'd it in, but i was missing my sticker. i handed hom my reg with the sticker still stapled to it from the DMV, and yep...he still gave me the ticket for that too...

now some of you now are thinking "this guy must've been a arse to the cop"...nope, not even close. respectful the whole time... so thanks officer, that was a great way to start my day!! oh and i seen him pull 2 other cars in the brief time he was in my sight too (he has just pulled back onto the hwy from one when he got behind me)

Talk about efficient!! 3 stops within how long 2 minutes...

I got pulled over for imprudent speeding 50 in a 35 but it was a main road and every one was goin like 40-45 i was trying to pass some slow poke.

He was respectfull but still gave me a ticket so screw him , i told him ,
i havent been pulled over in 7 years can i get a warning ? he said.

Heh.. were traffic (motorcycle cops ) we dont give warnings , what a douche.

anyway it was my fault but not the way i wanted to start out with this car it only took me 2 months to get a speeding ticket. Funny thing is i drove my hummer for the rest of the week i was scared of my car LOL!!
