okay so quick update since it's been a little while. I made the trip over there for him to get measurements for seat mounting. a lot of excess weight has been removed from under the dash. it's basically a shell of a dash now.

he's going to start building the turbo setup in the next week or so after finishing up the cage. we decided to go to a holley high ram. I bought the 92mm rectangular port one. I'll be switching to dbc as ms3 pro does not support a dbw throttle body.

I'll post pics as I get them. thanks for following guys!

after further discussion with the shop. I'm going to go to a solid axle. I will be using a Ford 9". he will be moving the wheel tubs over 3-4 inches to allow for a 12 wide wheel. we agreed this will be best for my goals.

he will also be cutting everything off in front of the strut towers to make a tubular front. we're hoping to get the car to a raceweight of 32-3300.

as slow as the shop is I doubt it. I'll be out the following year hopefully.

Yea man, I am liking this.... I had mine to about 3680lbs without me... no cage either. So 3300 with cage and TT etc is Beast Mode!

Keep us updated!

I am just curious, wouldn't it be worth going full on wide tire car? I am not thinking 12inch will be enough? *shrug* I haven't thought about taking one this far........

I also really like how the License plate / parachute setup allows for easy removal of the chute and the hole will be basically covered. Very nice.

Also looks like you can remove it without taking the bumper cover off!

I'm buying the skyview racing rear bolt in cradle. it was designed around a 12 wide wheel. looking forward to losing all the weight. with the 4l80, blower, and me in the car weighed 4300. rear swap will save 350lbs or so

the chute is a single bolt to remove the back half of it. I'll be leaving it on though for my street driving too

I've got my whole rear cradle spoken for so that will cover half of rear swap. I'd love to make it to ls fest in 2018 with it.... we will see
