Water spots on Rims

What's good to remove water spots on chrome? I have some Lexanis that I want to clean up and put them on my 2016.

This will probably be the best stuff to do the job. Safe for any surface.
If you're not familiar with CarPros,....get familiar with them. They have a killer product line. I have the Cquartz Finest applied to my '16 Ram Sport 4X4 regular cab and it's amazing.
Good luck!

Would anyone advise using a diluted CLR mixture to get rid of them? I have used it many times on painted and chrome surfaces and never had any problems. Just a thought.

I don't use anything at all. I just wash them with a micro fiber glove and just wipe mine down with a drying cloth and don't get any spots.

Water spots come in 2 types, chemical and mineral. CLR and vinegar will work fine for the mineral spots, however chemical usually has to be polished off. And then there's the problem of whether the water spot has actually etched itself into the finish. And that will require polishing, definitely. Start with Meguires 205 and As said above, a machine polisher, If that doesn't get it start with Meguires 105. A mothers Powerball on a cordless drill should make short work of it.

As usual, my friend Mike Phillips at autogeek nails it:

Coke, the phosphoric acid in coke, is a very mild (less than vinegar) acid to clean chrome. Plus it tastes better than vinegar

Best and cheapest thing to use is Brasso!!
Guys in the Forces have been using this for decades!
Best for Brass, Chrome, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum!
Wipe on, let it Haze up, Wipe off... That easy! Great stuff!!
This is what I use on my exhuast tips! I had a 2005 Sierra
GMC and the bumper had a few rust spots! Took the rust off
and never had rust again using this product! Used to use it
on my Aluminum rims On my longnose Peterbilt as well!
Cost about 5 or 6 dollars!!
