A gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) is the maximum allowable total weight of a road vehicle or trailer when loaded - i.e including the weight of the vehicle itself plus fuel, passengers, cargo, and trailer tongue weight.

The difference between gross weight and curb weight is the total passenger and cargo weight capacity of the vehicle. For example, a pickup truck with a curb weight of 4500 pounds might have a cargo capacity of 2000 pounds, meaning it can have a gross weight of 6500 pounds when fully loaded.

Don't apologize. You're the first person to document an actual delivery of a customer car to a dealership (other than the Hendrick pair, obviously). I'm surprised that this thread isn't a bigger deal -- the Camaro has officially arrived.

Interesting that the first cars manage to show up at Hendrick and Penske, isn't it?

The biggest thing I noticed was that visibility isnt that great from the driver's seat... it's not some sort of deal breaker or anything, but it would definitely take some time to get used to.... other than that, this car is amazing
You WILL get used to it and very quickly. Won't take long at all.

I've not seen anyone claim VIN 2830.

The details at GM.ca have "APITT" next to the dealer number.
