Funny that you mention it, I saw 3 today in a 10 minute drive. I am starting to see more and more of them, which I don't like, as I still want one eventually. Oh well. I just bought my mustang, and luckily around here the s197 body style isn't too common.

I do wave and flash to vette and Camaro owners; I've gotten a few back, mostly from the vettes though.

Be happy for people buying them! If it wasnt for all of them, the camaro might not have come back. I love seeing other 5th gens. As long as they give me a wave or thumbs up i think its nice to have alot of these cars around. But its the people who dont even look up at you when you say nice car, those people piss me off.

Your right. On a regular day here in Houston you can be sure to find at least 8 - 12, if not more. Its crazy, but i dont mind. I actually get really excited when i see them.

I have not seen ANY Gen. 5s here AT ALL besides mine. I was even in a city of over 50xxx people yesterday...and NADDA...not a one...and I was looking and so was my passenger to see if we could spot any. Put on well over 250 miles this weekend, mine was the only one I saw. I DID, however, get so many people commenting on the car wherever I went. One lady even came up and HUGGED me, said she was "glad to see a woman driving a hot car..." I just smiled and hugged her back. We're friendly in WI LOL!

good way to think about it.... all the other people i see in them, are stuck up 30-40 year olds mostly women i try and wave and they just hate... to me all of them think they are better then everybody else, and just bought the car because its the hottest new fad

I rarely see any 5th Gens, maybe 2 every other week. Now Mustangs, at least half a dozen every day.

Yup, these cars are showing up everywhere. I saw a yellow with black stripes and an IOM. Good to see these cars are selling well.

In my town they're starting to show up everywhere. I was the first one to get a SS back in July, now there's 4 or 5 and about 6 or 7 V6's and 1 new red vert. I'm still the only SW though, so that's good lol. Hopefully I'll be the first to get into the engine too.

For those that know me, I'm talking about Quincy, not Tallahassee

That just means you have to have make yours stand out more. When i was stationed at Ft Knox, there were about 5 black ones on post not including mine, but mine was the only one with stripes on it. one day when going through the gate the gate guard said that he see's lots of Camaro's but none with strips and complimented me on having one that was different. im not saying stripes are that rare but people who appreciate our cars can will notice the little differences.
