Will a 5 by 5 ft piece cover the whole hood??

You need a 5 feet by 6 feet. The hood is 63 inches by 48 inches. I just put a new wrap on a few months ago. I got the material from this place. http://www.metrorestyling.com/default.asp The material was under $60

Not a 1/LE. That black hood is a privilege, your car but if you run into a group of guys be careful for the backlash.

I have an all black 1lt, i'm trying to envision a good colour the hood just because the by all will protect it from rocks and it would look good.

Any thoughts and do you think I can do it myself I did the spears but two different worlds there

I had a friend do it that has done a lot of car wraps for other people. He does it on the side on his days off. I helped out of course. It took longer to take the old wrap off. The new wrap pretty quick. Just make sure the hood is really clean. The old residue from the original wrap was a pain in the ass to get off.

Sorry, muscle cars of all brands have been doing a black hood for decades. It's not like he's putting a zl1 bumper, or badging it as a z/28.
