JET Mass Air Flow Sensor Upgrade #69126 @ Phastek Performance

JET Mass Air Flow Sensor Upgrade #69126 - 2010-2011 Camaro V6/LS/LT

2010-2011 Camaro V6/LS/LT JET Mass Air Flow Sensor Upgrade #69126

Does not fit 2012 models

The JET Powr-Flo Mass Air Sensor delivers improved horsepower, torque and mileage by simply replacing the restrictive stock mass air sensor. The factory sensor not only is a major restrictive point in stock intake systems, but it also limits the full potential of aftermarket cold air intake systems. The flow bench tested design of the JET Mass Air Sensor provides airflow increases of up to 45% and installs in 10 minutes or less. Compatible with other aftermarket upgrades such as computer upgrades, cold air intakes, TBI spacers, free flow exhaust systems, etc More flow means more power!
Part Number: JET-69126
Housing Color: Black/Satin
Housing Material: Plastic
Electronics Included: Yes
Tuned for Cold Air Intake: No
Quantity: Sold individually

I've heard the MAF is also a problem with the v6 but noone has yet to actually confirm it. Although from the picture idk how it is suppose to fit in the MAF housing.

Is the Jet MAF for the V6 Camaor compatible with Hypertech's Max Energy Power Programmer?

The V6 MAF is a proven issue I'm on my second one and about to go on to a third. But rather test this one out if it can handle higher flows. Us FI guys boosting 6psi's or better are having this restrictive issue.

A tune is needed to take advantage of this MAF. You can't just put it on.

I just bout 1 and installed it and the car liked it for like 5 miles then the engine light came on and It kept dying over and over and would only stay on with added throttle and dies when I stop. I took it out after i limped home and changed it for the stock one and back to normal. Do they just not work or does it have to have a tune on the car? I have an aem cold air intake. It has the long tube that reaches down by drivers fog light.. should I just return it?
