What RPM does the TVS 1900 spin at for the ZL1?

I'm trying to do some calculations for blower efficiency.

According to Jannetty's site the stock ratio is 2.71, so is it safe to assume that at 6,200 rpms (the LSA's red line) the blower is spinning at 16,802 rpms?

If so, then according to Eaton's efficiency diagram posted below, the TVS is operating at 60% efficiency at red line. (At the stock 9 psi of boost the pressure ratio is about 1.61).

Having said that, I lost almost 1 psi of boost by adding LT headers which means theoretically you could add a couple more psi of boost and actually become more efficient with the blower..

Thoughts?

I believe the TVS units in the CTS-V and the ZL1's both spin at the same rate. If so, the stock pulleys have the unit spinning at 18,358rpms and 6,750 engine RPM's. This link can be useful when working through all the upper/lower pulley combos.

I've heard that 20,000 is getting close to max, so I'd say you're right on!

I thought 23,000 was the max recommended RPM for the blower?

25,000 for V's has been the limit with supporting mods.

Great posts. What's interesting is that according to Jannetty's site that stock configuration is an 8" Crank pulley and a 2.85" SC pulley. Wonder if it is slightly different for the CTS-V and the ZL1. I wouldn't think so though, I thought they made the same boost levels.

They should be exactly the same on pulleys. The 580 vs. 556 is due to a freer flowing exhaust and, as we are finding out in the V world, a more efficient supercharger lid. V owners that have simply swapped the lids have gained 10rwhp and report a better recovery on heat soak.

The chart above is from Lingenfelter, and the chart on my site is from Metco.

Are there any pulley sizes in between 2.5 and 2.85? Let's say for example, I wanted to spin the supercharger at 22,000 at 6600 rpms. What pulley combo is needed for that?

Presumably these charts are showing how to get stock boost levels with each companies specific pulleys. "Stock " on these charts isn't necessarily with the OEM pulleys. Which unfortunately doesn't help me.

I Think Maybe we are Unclear as to your original question or what exactly you are seeking.

You MAF Reports Air flow in Grams Per second as long as the Calibration is correct, you can convert Grams Per second to CFM if that is what you are seeking.

I'm looking for what the ratio is for the OEM pulleys. I know my boost levels and if I know what the OEM pulley ratios are, I can calculate what I'm spinning the blower at red line (6200) rpms. Alternatively I could read my MAF sensor, convert it to CFM like you suggest. But if someone knew the OEM pulley ratio that would be easier for me.
