It was actually Chevy that bought GM. That was Durant's revenge after he was kicked out when the banks took over GM.

Yeah, some kind of "reverse merger", whatever that is.
It still ended up badly for Durant (got kicked out again), but the merger itself seems to have held up just fine. Norm
