Roto Fab CAI

I'm gonna be adding a Roto Fab CAI. Best to order direct from Roto Fab, or save a few dollars from a vendor?

Thanks.

I ordered mine through summit racing only because i had some credit and there is a warehouse close to me, so it usually takes 1-2 days to get.

Its all the same, so just buy it through a reputable vendor.

Summit Racing is where I ordered mine from but being in Georgia they charged me sales tax with free shipping. If you live out of state you aren’t charged state sales tax and you can get free shipping with a $250.00 order. I think that’s correct about the shipping!

Mal, you living in Florida you would probably order from the Summit in McDonough Ga.

Get ready to experience improved throttle response and a louder s/c whine! Of course, your mileage may go down a little but it’s worth it in my opinion!

I will be ordering my Roto-Fab intake soon...how is the installation on these?

For someone with decent mechanic skills, I am assuming it might not be too difficult with the proper tools?

Its very simple. Few clamps, tie down a few lines, install the breather elbow and your done.

It's easy. I did mine in about 30 minutes. The hardest part is removing the pressure plug thing from the OEM tubing without destroying something. If I had better needle noise pliers it would have come off much easier

Thanks. I saw that in the installation instructions you need a T20 Torx Driver. Is this true...no big deal as I can go buy it if needed.

Not difficult at all but yes you probably need that T20. Go to Home Depot or Lowe’s and get a set or I think Harbor Freight has them too! Watch out for the grommet on the front post of the factory airbox because it stays with the box when you pull it out and will stay with the airbox just like the install instructions say. No big deal though!

Easy to install. As stated before hardest part is the pressure plug. That things is a b1t6h!
