Passenger Window and Door Ajar
So, I had to have my door repainted (someone in a parking lot scratched the sh*t out of it) and the body shop broke all the plastic door connectors.
Then a year later my power window stopped working, the indexing still worked so I suspected the switch and not the motor. I took apart the door, tried a new switch, no luck so I put the door back together and waited to plan my next move. When I turned the car back on, the door ajar is on and stays on with the door closed. So now I have 2 problems. I really don't want to have to go to the dealer and tell them I made the problem worse, or really have the funds to pay for it right now. And I know that they will think that I was the one that broke all the plastic pins. ( I have fixed many windows in my kids' cars, so I have the tools to avoid this and I was VERY careful). Does anyone know what parts I should order to fix this, or any other advice? |
