Your Thoughts on the New ZL1
So I looked at the ZL1 pics that were posted today and I gotta say I'm disappointed with the exterior and the interior of the car. I love it performance wise, but the looks of the car just fall flat. I kinda like the new hood, the quad exhaust, and the wide tires but thats really about it. I especially hate the steering wheel and the shifter, like wtf is that?!
So what do you guys think? I would still buy an SS over the ZL1. |

I must be looking at a different car, because I'm blown away. This is the aggressive styling I've been waiting for since the '10 came out. I'm a little flat on the rear valance, but that's about it. I'm liking what I see on the interior, too, minus the steering wheel; I still prefer the existing one, but wouldn't mind the suede accents.

Design: (interior & exterior) I expected a lot more. It looks just like an SS, but on steroids. Performance:

Performance wise I think they've done an excellent job!
Aesthetics wise I find the car to be lacking IMO. I don't care for the front fascia, hood, fog lights/DRLs or the steering wheel. I do love the new exhaust set up though. I'm happy we have a car to compete with the GT500, but I will not be trading in my SS to purchase the ZL1. |

I like the exterior.... But this trim level ruined the interior for me!.... I honestly think they could change minor interior things without anything drastic and people would be happy with the current interior.

I like it for the most part, Not real keen on the hood, all that black plastic center looks cheap, But I love the 305x35 rears and the front bumper, Im still undecided on the interior, Looks like the only thing thats missing is some fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror...

IMO the car is done perfectly. Campare photos of the SS to ZL1 and you will be shocked by how boring and simple the ss is compared to the agressive in your face stlying of the ZL1., the SS looks evil but the ZL1 just looks synister waiting to destory its prey.

I love everything about the car except the hideous Steering wheel, wheels, and to an extent the rear spoiler.

Not too crazy about the Exterior.
But I wish my '10 had the same Interior! :( |

I love the performance and exterior. Not feeling the interior with the fabric-y stuff all over the place.
