Passenger Seat Height Adjustment
This may be listed on a post elsewhere, but I couldn’t find it.
Does anyone know if there is a way to adjust the HEIGHT of the passenger seat on the 2SS/RS? If not, does anyone have any good ideas on how to do it? I need to raise it 1”-2”.

Nope. Maybe try to find a pillow pad or something like that.

I was thinking about this last night. I'm 5'10 and when I rode with number 3 in Thor I had the same problem. I was wondering if you could buy a base that the drivers side uses and mount the passenger seat on it.

Hmmmm....you may want to tell your passenger to eat more cheese cake. This may provide a natural solution to their issue. :-)

Check the owner's manual. I know there's a section in there on how to do it. I can't remember what it said (I've never sat in the passenger seat) but I know it's there.

I've got some friends that are taller than me (6'5'') and my dad is also over 6'. But my mom rode in my car and she said the passenger side had a lot of headroom. I was like what? Because the driver side on my 2SS has a lot more headroom than the passenger side. |

I looked all over, I never found a height adjustment for the passenger side. I'll check the owner's manual tonight.

There is no wAy to adjust the height. The only adjustable things on the seat is the back part and it moves up and back. One of he few places where GM messed up.

I know on the Mazda Mx5 forum they talked about adding washers to the seat bolts to raise the seat. Haven't looked to see if it would work here or not yet.

No such adjustment for raising or lowering the passenger height (on the 2010 Camaro....)

It should be pretty straight forward to raise a seat. Just get spacers and remount the seat using them.
I havent really looked at the camaro seats up close but unless there was a huge design change to the modern car seats then it should be quite easy to do it. |

So, my bad, there isn't an adjustment for height on the passenger side. Paul

It's a pretty common job, but I'm not finding it quickly on google.
