I am #203 COME TO PAPA!!!!
Tune ...Non-Tune.......... Decisions decisions!

That being said, for those of you with Vararams already....is it the tune only or the no tune required ones that are having the bucking issues. I plan on getting a tune at some point in the furture but maybe not right away and need to know which one to get!
Also, I am planning a trip from Denver CO to CA soon and was wondering if anyone else has gone from mile high to sea level or vice versa and had any problems or not!

Any feedback would be appreciated!

The Wickerbills purpose- just as its name implies ,its been put in place to downsize the flowpath to the filter.
This allows the use of a high spec unit, in detuned form.
Allowing the customer to remove the wickerbill later as there power needs demand.

( the VR unit was designed to support 1000hp and 700cu/inch, then detuned for stock cars )

The throttlebody on the LS-3 (LS-7&LS-2) is one in the same. The blade does not seat ,it has daylight all the way around its perimiter. This allows air to bleed past.

Rad bolts come with all the units now as standard eqip. The unit was setup from day one to use these.

Thanks for the update....now if you would like to move up to say #203, I would be more then happy to provide you with some cash!

One last thing, would you expect to have any issues going from Denver CO down to sea level with this intake?

So you're saying that even with the TB closed, as much as it can, and in deceleration, the unit still pushes enough air past the sliver of an opening to make the engine throttle down significantly different? The massive tubulence caused by the closed TB doesn't counteract this?

It's really not that bad, I mean I can feel it a little unstable at certain RPMs or at an idle at times. Just a few times it's really gotten weird for a second and only once it's died now.
