So I drove back to Los Angeles today from Las Vegas where I
Went whit the wife to buy a house, on my way home
My buddy calls me and tell's me I'm at your house and I got a
New car, he always made fun of me because I got a camaro,
So I get home about 20 mins later, I see him in a 2013 mustang
5.0 manuel W/3.73 gears, "it was fast" so he take's me for a spin
Starts to show off...1st gear...2ND gear.....3rd gear....COPS!
So we pull over cop comes to the window does the whole cop
Thing, my buddy try's to get out of a speeding ticket...
Officer told him..."IF YOU HAD A CAMARO I WOULD LET YOU GO"
HAHAHA..so I told the officer I have one..his response was
"AS DO I....I'LL SEE YOU AT THE TRACK TOMRROW!"
Give my buddy a ticket and goes about his day!
Best day of my life!

That's awesome man! Unfortunately, the cop that pulled me over a few weeks ago was not as much of a Camaro fan. :/

NICE!! I got pulled over by TXDPS about a year ago when I had my STI and I passed him going a little over 110MPH and he let me go because he owned a Subaru as well and said he understands my need for speed. haha My excuse was I just bought it and was having fun.

Honestly, if u were going that fast and TXDPS stopped you, you wouldn't be here to tell the story.

They don't play or have ANY sense of humor. Trust me I know tons of LEOs and my younger brother is one, though not DPS. He tells me all the time how hardcore DPS is and from my experience they sure are.

I drive a stretch of US87 east of San Antonio every day. I know the threshold on that stretch of road is 5 miles over. I was driving yesterday at 5 over and some young chick in a CR-V was ridin my butt, so I pulled over and let her go. I could almost see her lips moving as she said "why is that guy in the camaro going so slow?".

Just then, the Bexar county sherriff lit her up.
