All this being said, this douche bag did go to a car show right?
Ive actually witnessed on a few occasions others hitting my car with their door and blaming the wind carrying it.....absolutely disgusts me how careless people have become.

A guy slammed his door against my new Stingray. When I suggested he be more careful, he said, cool it, its only a car!

You do not know how many foot prints were on the front splitter after 1 of the car shows last summer that I was in. It's crazy how many people don't respect others property.

At the dealership I worked at, a customer was leaning on my Cadillac, I went over to the salesperson and told them "You meed to get your customers off my Cadillac asap", they did. I was soo mad. My camaro has a good bit of scratches from folks at car shows, at least two from belt buckles.

She acted offended and told me it was only a car. I was 21 and it was a brand new Monte Carlo SS so you can imagine my emotions.

Had an old man actually sit in my 55' Belair at a car show and start messing with the dash. I walked up calmly and asked him if it was his car. He said no, that he was "just looking." I looked at him and said "I know because its my car, now get out, I don't touch your wife, you don't touch my car"

I saw this at the Toronto car show last weekend. Some poundoff was slamming the trunk on a hellcat trying to close it....they have plastic inserts on the latch so it doesn't close......people auctuallly let their kids crawl into the trunks of cars there. A guy watching went up and asked him what the hell he was doing...then told him not to touch the car again.

I came up on a guy one time that was up against a buddy's car and asked
"That your car?"
"No"
"Then get the f off it!"
He was like deer in the headlights.

I had that happen to me when I was younger and much more dumb, the guy said the exact same thing, but in a threatening way. It caused a HUGE crease in my new "sweet ass eclipse"and I watched it happen out of carelessness . I proceeded to kick in his side panel. He watched in horror. I asked if he cared now? He got in his car and left. I feel ashamed of it to an extent, but I feel satisfied knowing he just may never smash someones door out of carelessness again.

I like what you did. Heres why: to some people, its only a 'car', or some metal souless object. To me its my passion, my money, my hardwork on a project, my happyness.

Its like you would sit or lean on a nice piano and scratching n damaging it. Then thr pianist sees you and ask to be careful then you say "cool off its only a Piano". Thing is a car worth nothing to some plp or they never had one thats worth anything.

..its only a matter of respect. Some plp are just ignorant though.
