I didn't get the RS package specifically cause I knew 75% of the cost of the RS is associated with the upgrade in the rims and new wheels.. (If I'm incorrect, someone plz. correct me and explain).

So, I'm convinced to go for aftermarket rims. After reading several threads - I am concerned about the quality of aftermarket rims that I get. I want to ensure that they are good and will not hurt "Eleanor".

Someone directed me to tirerack.com. What is everyone's opinion, generally about this place? Thx.

These are the rims I am thinking about getting..

They are by Savini and are called SV 29s.

I would have them powdercoated flat black,
but with no yellow pinstripes like in the picture.

If I had the stripe accents on the just the spokes, they would be IOM.

Anyone think these would look bad on an IOM 2SS/RS?
Or look not right maybe? Be honest.

I would probably be getting 22"s front and back.

And I would want them as wide as possible.

Not sure what that is?

Maybe 245 up front and 315 out back- Anybody know for sure?

Wouldn't go with the 22s, but hey it's your car. I'dsay no pinstriping on those, then it'd look good

Those make the sweetest combo I've seen to date. What size are those, I'm looking at 20's but thinking about bumping up to 22's.

Honestly, if you can keep it under 2500k then your doing good for a budget. But, you always get what you pay for with rims.

I was thinking of these...SEVAS Forges R5
I love the factory wheels but they aren't wide enough for me. These have a close resemblance and a nice wide lip.
or possibly the BOZE Injected..
