I fully understand.
I knew mine was not going to be my daily driver before I bought it.
Same with my Custom Bike.
Neither were practical daily drivers where I live.

Have fun with the mini.

I will have another high end car one day. just now isn't the time. I decided to buy something very practical and affordable so I can begin to stash some $$$ for a few years.[/QUOTE]

Humm, so you sell it to stash cash to buy another high end car one day? Hope you get your stress levels under control by then! Never fall that much in love with material things. Makes no sense, but to each his own. Good luck and enjoy the COOP.

Does that imply that you prefer the ZL1 over the GT500 after driving both for a while?

I went from a 04 Mini Cooper S to my 2011 Camaro. I miss the mini sometimes. It handled like a go cart through my daily commute through the canyon. However i forget about it once i sit back into my camaro.

Enjoy your new Mini. They are fun little cars.

I done get it either. It's a car meant to be driven. Shit will happen to it. It's going to be fine.

Have fun with the mini, hope it turns out the way you want. I've had a few friends with them and they loved them.

I'm a chevy guy at heart and I love the looks of the Camaro. I could be honest and give a true driving impression of both cars but I would be flamed here. (depending what you are looking for)

The reason I'm thinking of another ZL1 is the looks and I'm just a Chevy guy at heart. I have went over both cars with a fine tooth comb and there are many many differences. It's not because of performance.

I do feel privileged to have owned them both. They are both very great cars in their own ways.

Enjoy the Mini Cooper, my buddy has one and his is supercharged! No use keeping a car you are struggling to pay for. Very wise move. Just to warn you the aftermarket industry has lots of parts for the Mini!

Correct. My 2010 was paid for when I traded it in for the 2013 Z.
