How would a stock Z/28 do against a stock ZL1 in the quarter mile? Anyone have any idea which would have the edge.

You think so? Advertised 1/4 times are damn near identical.

How much is left on that motor in NA form, meaning how much can be gotten out of a LS7 in N/A form...reliably? I like the mods done, great combo.

it's like asking "How would a COPO do against a ZL1 in the 1/4 mile". One is made for one thing, and it does that one thing better than anyone else.

We did upgrade the exhaust valves since there is a lot of concern about the two piece exhaust valves, so we upgraded to a Manley severe duty Inconel valve |

Being that this motor is a dry sump and has different needs, Nick the owner is trying to find one to build a specific Z-28 set. He is a gem to work with. The nice thing is that the headers save almost 25 lbs of the manifolds and cats Last edited by Octaneman; 06-04-2014 at 11:11 AM. |

Would like to have seen what the Z/28's time was at the Nurburgring in dry conditions. A 7:37 in the rain is absolutely amazing.

I'd bet on the Z28 it's lighter!
