ISO Harmonic Balancer Bolt

Hello ‘01 3.8L here,
I am new to the forums but I am familiar with the help these websites can provide. Recently my Crankshaft Positioning Sensor went bad. I went through the repair not fully understanding what a TTY bolt was. Came to find out that the harmonic balancer bolt needs to be changed.
Unfortunately I am unable to find this bolt anywhere, Chevy, autozone, Napa, you name it.
An employee at autozone told me the bolt was a M16 x 2.0. I am assuming I will need to find a bolt at a hardware store. I just don’t know where to look.
Any help or knowledge on the thread/pitch/length would be greatly appreciated. I tightened the bolt as much as I could and drove the car home. I am nervous to drive it anywhere else with the cloud of catastrophic destruction over me. Please help!

not saying this is the best solution, but I do know of people on a TTY bolt for a blancer, used loctite and torqued it down and called it a day.

Online GM parts sites list it as part number 55569202. And they have the listed as in stock. I would just go to a local GM dealer and let them look it up for you. Beyond that check with ARP based upon thread dia, pitch and length. If you get desperate, class 10.9 bolt from Grainger or McMaster-Carr or local bolt distributor.

More digging indicates 55569202 may or may not be the right part number. Let a dealer look it up but it’s only a few bucks if it is wrong.

Thank you. I will look into this. I called a few Chevy dealerships and they said the part is completely discontinued and they had no option to find one.
