press the onestar button and ask them to send you directions to where you want to go. you can also listen to the CD and it will tell you all about the connections to your bluetooth.

OnStar is an amazing feature. Directions will appear in your DIC.

Yep, just push the blue button. The operator will download directions to your car which will create voice prompts with messages on your radio display and, if you have it set to NAV, your DIC.

The opperator should ask if you have any questions about or if you have used Turn by Turn. They are generally very helpful.

I find it to be the killer ap for OnStar.

first year free, 30$ a month after. That's when you decide 200$ for a nice GPS/Nav . Look at the bright side a Nav system runs around 2000 dollars that would take you about 6 years to make up at 30 dollars a month. So essentially with the free year 7 years before you end up paying what it would have cost to have a Nav system. Plus the added benefit you never have to take your eyes off the road to input information/destinations. If you ask me much safer, one last thing if you make a wrong turn it also recalculates for you just like a regular Nav system.

thats not including updates you would need for a navi system. but i would personally like a handheld gps.

30 bucks a month, really?

That's honestly ridiculous. I would consider it at 100 a year, but no more.

btw, when I try to use mapquest it tells me I need to upgrade my onstar to directions and connections.
